These clamps are designed only for a black heavy duty and clear polyurethane flexible hose. Bridge clamps produce a tight seal on a standard right-hand spiral wire flex hose. Type 301 stainless is steel is used for the housing and band. The band is 0.025” thick and 1/2″ wide. The screw material is Type 305 stainless steel.

Note: To determine the spiral direction of your hose, look at the end of the hose. If the spiral goes away from you in a clockwise direction, then the hose has a right-hand spiral.

Steel flexible hose is manufactured from hot-dipped, galvanized carbon steel and is strip-wound interlocked. You can choose between two different gauge thicknesses based on the type of service required. This steel flexible hose has a temperature rating up to 788° F and may be twisted but will not unravel. We suggest an operating temperature no greater than 400° F with this hose. The hose is extended fully when sold, but may have a shorter length than specified if compressed. As a galvanized steel all-metal blower and suction hose for fume and dust collection, it is an ideal option for wood shop molders.
From a completely collapsed position, the tubing may be lengthened 2.5” per foot when subjected to a 25 lb. to 45 lb. tension load. The flexible hose may be used in systems in a semi-compressed condition, halfway between fully compressed and fully extended.
